The name of the realm delivers from: Darkmaster Gandling is the final boss of the Scholomance dungeon in World of Warcraft Classic. As the headmaster of the academy of necromancy, he is a twisted human sorcerer fiercely loyal to the Cult of the Damned and the Lich King. Located in the high-level laboratory chamber, he commands dark shadow magic and utilizes a signature teleportation mechanic throughout the encounter. He periodically banishes players to one of the surrounding alcoves filled with mini-bosses, forcing them to quickly clear the room and run back through the portals to rejoin the main fight. Additionally, he casts severe shadow bolts and inflicts heavy area damage, requiring tight focus and strong coordination to defeat him. His death finally shatters the dark leadership of the academy, making him one of the most iconic and frequently farmed endgame dungeon bosses of the classic era.
