“The Grand Widow Faerlina, a botanist in life, breeder and caretaker of arachnids in death, she oversees the spider wing, developing the most potent of poisons for the Lich King.” — Commander Eligor Dawnbringer. Grand Widow Faerlina is the second boss of the Arachnid Quarter in Naxxramas. Once one of the high-ranking members of the Cult of the Damned under Kel'Thuzad, in death she breeds and takes care of the seemingly endless amount of arachnids that swarm from the depths of the citadel. A master of poisons, she has a keen understanding of what makes mortals suffer. The poisons she concocts comes from the spiderlings produced by Maexxna. The Naxxramas Worshippers will be off-tanked for most of the fight, and eventually sacrificed to Faerlina. When mind controlled, they have a Widow's Embrace ability which when cast NEAR Faerlina can prevent Frenzy as well as silence Faerlina's nature school for 30 seconds. Using Widow's Embrace AFTER Faerlina Frenzies locks her nature school for 60 seconds. Using this ability actually kills the Worshipper.
